We are really excited about working with this company out of Germany. A Strandkorb (from German, lit. meaning: ‘beach basket’) is a special hooded windbreak seating furniture used once at only vacation and seaside resorts, but now they have arrived in the US and have been gaining popularity for use in Gardens, patios, balconies, and more. They are constructed from wicker, wood panels, and canvas, usually seating up to two people, with reclining backrests. They were designed to provide comfortable seating and shelter from wind, rain, sand gusts, and sunburn on beach seafront resorts frequented by tourists. Other built-in details, like extendable footrests, sun awnings, side-folding tables, and storage space, provide the user with several comforts.

Since Strandkorb has been gaining popularity here in the US, they came to us in need of a website for the US, to let homeowners know they too can own one (or several) of these beautiful pieces of furniture for their backyard or home.
